Online stores

The service of acquiring goods without leaving the house was available for people for several decades already. People have been buying pizza, books, clothes, food or whatever by simply dialling the number of a store (a restaurant) and ordering the things they need. A very convenient service, yet having some drawbacks. First of all, while ordering goods over the telephone you can not actually see what you're buying; see the amount of such items available or see what other options you have - maybe there's a similar but cheaper item, or maybe there's another store selling the same thing for less. The only thing you can be guided by in this case is a catalogue or an advertisement in a newspaper or on TV. On the other hand, the seller of the goods is not protected from fraud, when, for example the buyer names the wrong address of delivery or refuses to pay for the goods that have been delivered. All such drawbacks are overcome by internet stores (or online stores) which are an amazing service existing more than a decade now. The principle of their work is simple: a buyer goes to the website of the retailer, see the whole product range, watch pictures or video files containing the item he or she needs, read feedback about the item from other customers that have already purchased it, and then order it. Cashless settlement is the most widespread type of money settlements in this type of retail trade. This means that while buying something you just need to type the number of your credit card in a corresponding field and the required sum is taken off your account.
